For real, do not miss Nutcracker Rouge. I have already seen it this season but I still can’t wait to go back in a couple weeks.

Nutcracker Rouge is basically the only holiday show I give a shit about, and this year’s incarnation is great. There’s a bunch of new stuff and I love every minute of it and I can’t wait to go back in a couple weeks with @nakedgirleating.
I am so bummed that I can’t make it to this, but you should absolutely go on my behalf and take a ton of pictures that I can look at later… privately.
Any evening that includes whiskey, Frito pie, and a lot of this sort of thing is basically my ideal evening.
The fifteen second version of the inaugural Bang Bang Boom Girls show at Cobra Club last week. If you would like fifteen more seconds, you may acquire them here.
On Sunday I saw Company XIV’s Cinderella for the second time with the incandescent @nakedgirleating and I consumed more than one of those tiny Sofia champagne minis, and there was a drunk lady who was clearly overwhelmed by the sheer number of shapely butts on stage, and the show was so pretty that Mags and I both cried, and the offensively talented STG looked handsome even while wearing a large balloon pony head, and then I rode the subway home with a large balloon pony head.
Go see this, probably. I’m going back for round two this weekend.
I have very few photos from d20burlesque‘s post-apocalyptic show a couple weeks ago, but here there are anyway. One of my favorite recent show themes! The whole cast was perfect, but Bettie Blackheart in particular blew me away and Stella Chuu’s Fury Road act was honestly everything I have ever wanted in the world.
Bonus video: Luna TikTok’s Tank Girl go-go.
Please accept fifteen seconds of Luna TikTok’s Tank Girl go-go, which I could honestly watch all day. And I might.
I have been waiting for a Fury Road act since like the first fifteen minutes of the movie. AND IT’S FINALLY HERE. Thank you, stellachuuuuu, for making my dreams come true.
Chad and I caught Company XIV’s Cinderella on Tuesday and it was gorgeous almost beyond belief, which shouldn’t really be a surprise to anyone who has seen an XIV show at all ever. The entire cast is flawless, and Steven Trumon Gray in particular is so great that it actually makes me a little bit angry. I would strongly urge you to get your butt in a seat at Minetta Lane Theatre at your earliest possible convenience.

Kitty Nights has a very special place in my heart and I have been missing it a lot this year, so Fem’s one-night-only reunion show on Friday made me feel all the feelings. Plus, I mean, how often does one get to see Bea Arthur strip on the Coney Island stage? Not nearly often enough, in my opinion.
