Here is my friend Schaffer the Darklord performing Supervillain at Epic Win Burlesque’s DC vs Marvel show last weekend. This song happens to be the very first one I ever saw Schaffer do live, and it’s one of my favorites.
My friend Carlylia had an awesome party which featured chicken sliders, flip cup, a fucking fantastic cake, several of my favorite people, and an awesome dog.
Were you aware that you still have three more chances to see Epic Win Burlesque at the Fringe Festival? It’s true! We have shows tonight at 5:15pm, tomorrow at 9:15pm, and Saturday at 5:45pm, all at the Ellen Stewart Theatre (66 E 4th St between Bowery and 2nd). All three shows will have tickets available at the door.
Come see Schaffer and Lugo debate the merits of Star Wars and Star Trek while lovely ladies get nearly naked. Tonight’s lineup includes Lefty Lucy, Nasty Canasta, Miss Mary Cyn, BB Heart, Fem Appeal, and Rosey la Rouge.

I took this photo at a party at Schaffer’s place on Friday night. I instructed him to look sultry, which led to foodforbears shrieking like an adorable little girl.
This is my favorite of Schaffer’s new jams, though Do Sex is a close second. This one is just so sassy-cute I can hardly stand it.
Incidentally, I have lots more Schaffer if more Schaffering is desired.
Everyone’s favorite Mags just recently hit the Dirty 30, and I have to say that her birthday party may have been even better than my birthday party, as hers featured a full-fledged roast, and also spankings. It also resulted in the photo below, which is the best photo in the world as it contains Mags’s butt, Schaffer, and some pretty flowers. There are more photos, too.
Bee stings are delicious
It has been another week, and I am once again sleepy but still alive. I hit up True Nerd Trivia last Wednesday, where I was (of course) a member of the winning team, thanks to my ability to dredge obscure information about Blade Runner and Harry Potter from the depths of my brainmeats. I went home full of liquor and victory pie, with a sack of prize goodies including superhero socks and a fancy new hat.
Sunday Night I met up with nearly everyone I know at Cake Shop to see STD perform with Coolzey. A rowdy lyrics-hollering time was had by all. There are videos, of course.
There have also been yet more birthdays in the past week! Friday was my friend Nicole who I have known forever, and for whom we celebrated with cupcakes from Sugar Sweet Sunshine and a boozy lunch at L'Express. And then Monday was the actual birthday of one Nelson Lugo, an occasion which was marked with giant vagina flowers and beers and fried pickles and an offensive crouch.
I have also been meaning to mention that if you live or work in the Flatiron district in Manhattan, you should totally be visiting Mad Sq Mark’t on a regular basis until it’s over in June. There is a metric crapton of excellent food to be had, and the weather lately has actually been pleasant enough to eat it right there in the park. All week I have been absorbing delicious foods from Calexico, AsiaDog, Roberta’s, Momofuku Milk Bar, Eataly, Nunu, and People’s Pops. I recommend that you do the same while you still can.
