My 22 hours in Philly were, I think, exceedingly well-spent.
I now have over a hundred videos in my Protomen album on Vimeo, but this is the very oldest, from my second ever Proto show at Santos Party House in the spring of 2010. There have been a number of changes in the nearly six years since I shot this (Nightwalker and Gunslinger are in this! Live violin! I didn’t even bother to get anywhere near the stage!) but it’s still one of my favorites and I still get goosebumps every time I watch it.

We’ve gotten a couple questions recently about this track, which appears on makeupandvanityset‘s excellent Charles Park Trilogy, so here it is. And here’s a Reddit thread in which people make an attempt at transcribing the lyrics. Though the sweet boxed set version of the Charles Park Trilogy sold out long ago, you can still buy it digitally, and you should absolutely do so.
