A very special birthday commission for the lovely @caoine, long may she reign! Due to popular demand, this painting is available as a print on my Society6!
My brother Spice-J came to town for a gig at Elevate Hair last weekend and we ate so many snacks and drank so many dranks and I miss his stupid perfect face already. How is it possible that we are cuter in 2018 than we were in 2010?
I’ve been doing some vending at the past couple of Oddities Flea Markets with The Satanic Temple, and it’s just been a real delight. Apart from hanging out with all my Satan friends, including folks from the Salem chapter I don’t get to see very often as well as my NYC comrades, I always make sure to take some time to do a couple laps of the rest of the market. It’s like wandering around a giant creepy home that all my friends live in that I want to stay in forever. On this last visit, I came home with a set of dagger earrings, a stained glass planchette, a set of dice made from bone, and a ton of our own merch that I couldn’t resist.
Come visit us next time!
It was pirate weekend at the ren faire. We drank mead and frolicked with fairies and sassed the sheriff and also I was burned as a witch. A++++ would anachronism again.
PS: @amazingexplodingwoman is the best expert faire guide ever and has the prettiest bodice, if you know what I mean.
Organizing old photos: a recipe for nostalgia. Can’t wait to see my robot frenz again.
Have some more of me looking like a Disney villain. Photos by David Lawrence Byrd, crow foot necklace by @starkcuriosa wacky crow hat by me.
(Previously.)
I am still on the lookout for another party to wear this to. If someone I know doesn’t have a gathering soon with a crow-friendly dress code, I’m just going to start wearing it to the office.
On Friday evening I walked with The Satanic Temple of New York City in the NYC Drag March from Tompkins Square Park to Stonewall. Along with the TML Pride show, the Drag March is basically the only Pride Week event I give a shit about. No floats, no corporations, no bullshit. My rhinestone horns and I had a great time.
Here I am, being slightly sweaty and also thrilled to meet Jex Blackmore of The Satanic Temple. She gave a talk on Satanic Feminism as Activism at Catland in Bushwick recently and everything about it was great. I believe it was filmed, so I imagine video will be available at some point if you missed it.
On a related note: the TST shop has new membership cards and they are so hot.
