We’d like to give a shoutout to truly hardcore Protomen fan ShutUpAndJamza. He’s such a total badass that not only did he attend the November show in NYC while undergoing chemotherapy, he rocked out in the middle of the goddamn pit.

Guess what? It’s the five year anniversary of this post, which means it’s now five years I’ve been friends with this cyborg motherfucker right here. Because it turns out shortly after that Reddit thread we went to PAX together and gamed some games and attended some concerts and spooned with some robots.

This seems like a good week (or month, or year) to be reminded that the internet isn’t always unceasingly awful. Right now my Twitter feed is basically a dumpster fire, but there’s also this guy who I met on goddamn Reddit of all places five years ago and now we’re friends and better still he’s also not dead.
