I am posting this because Johnny Panic’s butt is a thing of beauty, and also for definitelybeef.
One of my favorite things about my friends is that they always say yes when I ask if I can take pictures of their butts.

The opening number to New Year’s Eve 2014 at the McKittrick. Apologies for the abrupt start…I did not want to turn on the camera until it was obviously okay, so I missed the first few seconds of the singers sort of materializing out of the crowd.

This whole night felt like it was designed to be relevant to my interests. Sassy dancing porters, including the fantastically bearded Nick Bruder? Butt-oriented choreography? Bartenders offering to pour shots directly into my mouth? YES YES YES.
Just before midnight there was another amazing scene with Zhauna Hecate and Austin, the Saddest Porter in the World, and MORE BUTTS. And then it snowed in the ballroom and I kissed all my friends and got black lipstick on them, and I was happy to be alive.
