a reasonable person, having already seen one burlesque show on a given school night, might choose to go home and go to bed at the end of it. but I think being a reasonable person is less fun than being a person who stays to see chris harder’s late night cravings 💎
here is kylie rose defying physics at cocktail magique. I almost left in the original audio except it’s just me saying “oh my god” repeatedly 🍾🍾🍾
I promise I sometimes do things other than go to the slipper room but in any case here is emily shephard
I saw a screening of nosferatu recently and it reminded me of this completely flawless bb heart act 🩸
As most of you probably know, I’ve been involved in the NYC chapter of the Satanic Temple for about a year now. We’re having a benefit next month (April 8) for TST’s reproductive rights legal fund. This is our first real public event as a chapter and I’m extremely pleased with the lineup we’ve put together: Fancy Feast, Johnny Panic, Nyx Nocturne, Magdalena Fox, Lewd Alfred Douglas, Mary Cyn, and our own Zoë Nox hosting. Tickets just went on sale, and there’s more information on our Facebook event, but either way I hope you can join us, I think it’s going to be a great night.
A thing you can do when you’re feeling sad and scared about the world is go to @d20burlesque and watch your friends strip about boardgames. It helps.
Sword, Sorcery and Striptease at House of Yes was one of my favorite scripted burlesque shows in recent memory.
Above: sparkly dragon BB Heart. Below: Tansy and Lewd Alfred Douglas experiencing emotions, Lewd Alfred and Cheeky Lane plotting, BB Heart being BB Heart, and Jonny Porkpie donning his Objects of Power. Not pictured: Tigger! soaring high above the crowd, raining crotch glitter on us all as we gazed up in wonder and delight.
