See, that’s what the app is perfect for.

Sounds perfect Wahhhh, I don’t wanna

While I was in the Bay Area last month, my family and I went to the Cantor Center for Visual Arts at Stanford. This piece (Last Judgment, attributed to the school of Hieronymous Bosch) was one of my very favorites. I spent quite a long time staring at all the different bizarre details, but I could easily stare at it for hours more. I wish I’d been at Cantor when it was featured in an entire exhibition of art about Satan and the underworld.

Chad and I caught Company XIV’s Cinderella on Tuesday and it was gorgeous almost beyond belief, which shouldn’t really be a surprise to anyone who has seen an XIV show at all ever. The entire cast is flawless, and Steven Trumon Gray in particular is so great that it actually makes me a little bit angry. I would strongly urge you to get your butt in a seat at Minetta Lane Theatre at your earliest possible convenience.

All of these (perfect) photos are by Mark Shelby Perry.

I recently realized I never posted any photos from Bottom’s Dream, the incredible burlesque version of A Midsummer Night’s Dream produced in February by two of my most fabulous friends, Lewd Alfred Douglas and Johnny Panic. So: here are some photos, at last. You might also enjoy this delightful sizzle reel from the same show.

If this is the kind of thing you’re into (and come on, you know it is), you might want to follow Lewd!Panic Queer Burlesque and Theatre on FB to keep up with future endeavors.
