Chad and I caught Company XIV’s Cinderella on Tuesday and it was gorgeous almost beyond belief, which shouldn’t really be a surprise to anyone who has seen an XIV show at all ever. The entire cast is flawless, and Steven Trumon Gray in particular is so great that it actually makes me a little bit angry. I would strongly urge you to get your butt in a seat at Minetta Lane Theatre at your earliest possible convenience.

For real, do not miss Nutcracker Rouge. I have already seen it this season but I still can’t wait to go back in a couple weeks.

Scenes from glass jaw last weekend, which was an absolute delight.
Go see this, probably.
Last night the lovely Beebs and I went to see Luke Murphy’s DRENCHED at the Tribeca Performing Arts Center, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. You have one more chance to see it tonight before it disappears from NYC until next spring, so you should definitely do it.
I’m still not over Nutcracker Rouge and I don’t expect to be anytime soon.
Like the St Valentine’s Day dance last winter, the King’s Masquerade made me fall in love with the McKittrick all over again. And of course I’m still in love with all of the wonderful glamorous creeps I spent the evening with.
I had a great time at Inferno, start to finish. I was the right amount of drunk and the right amount of awake the whole time, I got to see and grope and dance with most of my favorite creeps and weirdos, my horns did not become uncomfortable, and I saw nearly everything I wanted to and quite a number of things I wasn’t expecting.
The auction was not my kind of thing but I loved being invited to it by Sam Booth at dinner. He asked about how much I had spent on different elements of my outfit and at one point took my purse away from me to look for money, but those of you who know me will not be surprised to learn I had all my cash in my bra.
Some of my favorite moments of the night were the ones created by my friends, who never cease to astonish me with their creativity. I must be doing something right in my life to be surrounded by people like this.
All in all, I have no complaints.
