Last night was pretty much a perfect New York evening, the kind that makes me happier than I can say with my life as it is right now. And I don’t think there’s a better way to spend the evening of the 4th than at a picnic on the roof of the McKittrick, watching fireworks with friends & fellow drunks.

It turns out that Queen of the Night is actually amazing if you ignore the part where they tell you it’s immersive theatre and instead assume you’re in for some kind of fetish-y, circus-y, carnivorous burlesque show. With 1:1s and birdcages full of lobsters. Not good if you’re shy or squeamish about dead animals, but otherwise great. Don’t bother with the fancy tickets, go for the cheapest option available.

I went to Tiffany’s post-Valentine’s Day lingerie party on Saturday night, and I decided to go even redder than usual. It turns out wigs are pretty fun.
A minor Brooklyn miracle: brunch for six at @piesnthighs with no wait. Their chicken biscuit is heaven already but it’s even better in the company of belated birthday babe @leendaloo.
