Home again, home again

I’m back in New York and back at work, after four days in Massachusetts for my cousin Edith’s wedding, and three days of miserable sniffling at home with yet another bad cold. It was, as always, great to unplug for a few days and spend time with my family, especially on such a happy occasion. And of course a trip to Essex also means top notch fried clams.

I know this is off topic, but as for your iPhone, here’s something interesting that you should read: http://community.livejournal.com/ohnotheydidnt/15270367.html

I guess they’re going to give iPhone users who paid the higher amount for their phone, a credit for a Mac store.

Yeah, I’m pretty pleased about that - I’ll be purchasing more Apple hardware this year anyway, so an extra hundred bucks off is always nice.

I’ve been reading your site off and on for seven or more years now, and I’m sure you’ve mentioned it many times, but is there any particular reason why you get ill so often? Or is it a simple big city issue, like our ‘London flu’ where theres an epidemic of illness because of everyone traveling on public transport and coughing all over each other?

I’m sure living in a big city is part of it, but I started getting sick much more frequently after I had a very bad case of mononucleosis a few years back.
