We had an incredible thunder and lightning storm yesterday - it went on forever and thoroughly freaked out the cat, who is a little unstable at the best of times. When the rain finally started, Manhattan disappeared and all we could see was gray. And then this morning it was cool and cloudy and breezy, and even though it will probably be hot for another few weeks, I can definitely tell that fall is on its way. Finally.
