drew and i are eating marshmallow peeps. i did not dye eggs (unlike two years ago); i just dyed my hair and did some work. more work awaits. but it’s nice out at least and i’m in a good mood, easter or no easter.

saturday mornings are for coffee and cartoons and being barefoot and not getting dressed until well after noon. and remember that when you leave all your windows open because it’s so nice out that a pigeon will land on the windowsill and look at you for a little while and you’ll have to sort of wonder how exactly you would get it back outside if it decided to come in. (screens are a good thing.)

so i’m really not supposed to be smoking at all, what with the tonsils and the throat already constantly sore, etc etc. i still have a clove on occasion, however, and it just so happens that this morning’s occasion was immediately following the consumption of a cherry halls (i buy them in economy-size bags). and as it turns out, cherry and menthol and clove is actually a delicious combination.

shirt update: they’re all types of printed, yo. expect them to ship soon! if you ordered, you’ll probably get mail from neil when they’re on their way. i’m excited. are you?

for the next run: i’m thinking of doing a different design this time; i’m toying with a couple of ideas. but we’ll see.

usually by the time i get to thursday i’m sort of overtired and grumpy and everything, but yesterday was pretty good. went to the pub as usual, and it was sort of a small group since a lot of people had to go home this weekend for easter or passover, but i had a couple pints and MrTails showed up too so it was all good.

a couple questions i’ve been getting a lot in email this week: yes, the first print run for the shirts is really over. if you ordered one, you probably got mail from neil yesterday; if not, you’ll have to wait till next time. which no, i’m not sure when the next run will be. with regard to the cams: i’ve gotten more than enough submissions to fill up the rest of page three, but i haven’t had time to look at them yet. i’ll either pick a couple or start page four, we’ll see.

today: shower, breakfast, then possibly back to the city for library fun, although i’m tempted to leave that till tomorrow since i have to be at cantor in the evening anyway.
