so i got my letter from nyu today - i’m offically accepted for readmission starting january 22nd (two days after my birthday). they’d already pretty much told me it wasn’t going to be a problem and that the application process was just a formality, but it was still a relief. i’m meeting with an advisor on thursday to figure out what classes i’m going to take; probably a couple of requirements and another class or two towards my major, which is still as of now philosophy. i might change it at some point, but probably not this semester. i’m considering computer science, but i’d have to take some more math first as it’s been almost three years since i took ap calculus in high school. if i do switch to a different major, i’ll probably still keep philosophy as a minor.

so the next couple weeks i’m going to be trying to get all the registration procedures ironed out and everything; i’m leaving for boston on december 22nd to spend xmas with the family. i’m going to spend a week there this time, which will be the longest i’ve been back in quite a while. i’m looking forward to it.
