so tired. my momma drove back out to ikea for me this morning before i could protest and got me that piece to my bed, so i spent a chunk of today putting the frame together (metal bits kept falling on me, ouch) and moving the futon to the living room for couch use and rearranging the rest of my apartment around all my new stuff. i’m sleepy and sore now but my place looks really cool and my new bed is so incredibly comfortable. the mattress is really firm, which should be good for my back after a year of sleeping on that crappy futon. i’ve also got some new rugs and kitchen utensils and all that good stuff, plus all the stuff my parents brought with them from their house in massachusetts. my whole apartment looks completely different now, but i really like it. the one thing i might still get is a little coffee table or side table to go with the futon, and i want to get rid of the boxes that my g4 and monitor came in, even though i’m sure i’ll wish i still had them later if i move again or something. oh well.

will update my cam tomorrow, i promise. this week has just been so hectic what with my parents being here and everything, although it was awfully sweet of them to come all the way out here and buy me furniture and stuff. i think soon i am gonna curl up in my new bed and read until i fall asleep. either that or i’ll stay up playing quake 3 all night again. who can say?
