mmmmmm. october, finally. this is without question my favorite month of the year. it’s cold and grey and rainy and i get to wear my hoodies everywhere and drink hot coffee instead of iced.

my parents are driving down for a visit tomorrow; we are also probably going to go furniture shopping at ikea or something. my poor little futon is slowly collapsing, and giving me back aches. it will be relegated to couch use in my living room when i get a new bed. i’d also like a book case and some new chairs. woo.

today i’m going to clean my apartment for a bit, work on some nyu stuff, fill out some more applications. i’m going to take some kind of part time job for when i’m in school. won’t be another design job, but i’ll live. i’m sort of looking forward to going back tolnyu, as odd as it will be to technically be a twenty one year old freshman.
