listening to ohGr today. welt is such a very very good album. it’s still hard to comprehend that i actually met and interacted with nivek ogre. i mean shit, i’ve been listening to him in one form or another for going on ten years now, what with skinny puppy and all. it’s similar to the sensation i had finally seeing nin in concert last year at madison square garden - i’ve listened to trent reznor for so long that seeing the live show was something i almost couldn’t even understand. but so anyway. yum.

i guess adam was going to be in nyc this week but now he’s not; he mentioned it briefly when i saw him last time i was in massachusetts but i guess it’s not going to work out after all. oh well. it’s weird thinking i’ve known him for over two years now. going on two and a half. i’m glad we still talk.

spent some time today and yesterday setting up a grufti with gundam for #velvetacidchrist and #ohGr on efnet. gruftis are such fun. also, spencer is now running gruftistats with one of the #thorns (irc.thorns.org port 7000) gruftis, Gollum. so there are now #thorns stats here (from deimos) and here. if you’re into that sort of thing.

oh yeah, before i forget - if you run an mp3 server with any amount of opera on it and you’re all about hooking me up, let me know. i find it really irking to pay $40 or whatever for a decent recording of rigoletto or what have you only to rip it immediately and never touch the cd again.
