before i forget again to mention it, deimos (of slashNET fame) has started producing stats for #thorns (irc.thorns.org port 7000, of course). i will give him much loving for doing this thing. check out the random quotes - they can be amusing sometimes.

it is too hot to even think today. blah. my air conditioner is doing its very elderly best to keep my apartment cool and dry but it needs very badly to replaced, which i can’t afford right now. so i swelter. uncomfortably. i hate the heat with a passion - i infinitely prefer being cold to being hot. if you’re cold, you get to put on sweaters and drink tea and snuggle into blankets and things. if you’re hot, you just sit there and sweat. ick. plus clubbing becomes almost unbearable - that many sweaty people packed that closely together and attempting to dance is just not a good idea in the summer.

i am drinking some of that mountain dew code red stuff. it’s translucent red and cherry flavored so i figured i’d give it a try, and it’s actually pretty tasty. can’t top jolt of course, but then, what can. ta.
