hoo boy. what a weekend. my parents showed up at my place saturday morning and we took the d to coney island, which my dad has been wanting to see since he found out i lived near there. he was dying for a hot dog at the original nathan’s, so we hit that, and also checked out the ferris wheel etc. after coney island we headed to the brooklyn botanical gardens, which although all the pollen triggered allergies i almost never get, was still pretty cool. afterword, i got my hair cut - camstills are forthcoming but it went from waist length to a couple of inches past my shoulders. i like it a lot but i’m still getting used to it.

my parents headed back to their hotel around six or so, i heated up leftover indian and got ready for batcave. it was really, really fun this week. i got home around five and didn’t get to sleep till like six so i was short of sleep when i met my parents this morning, but it was well worth it.

today i took my parents to the metropolitan musem of art and then we went exploring in the village and got coffee at reggio. my stomach was kind of weird so i just had a plain omelette and toast for dinner - i think i’m just hungover, i feel fine now - and they went back to their hotel. they leave tomorrow morning.

meanwhile i’m exhausted. ta.
