i just got home from hanging out with snarf; we went to see memento, which was every bit as weird and cool as tycho and rich said it would be. we saw it at angelika, too, which as movie theatres go is a pretty snazzy one. after the movie we were going to go to generation records, but by the time we got there it was closed, so we headed to bleecker bob’s instead. bleecker bob himself is, for the record, an asshole. it’s interesting: the last time i was at angelika was when i saw princess mononoke with chrissy and cliff way back in the fall of 99, right after i moved here, and we also went to bleecker bob’s that night.

anyway, after bleecker bob’s we headed to reggio for coffee. that is still probably my favorite coffee place in the city; there might be a better one, but i haven’t found it. they make the best mocha i’ve ever had, and the cafe itself is really exquisite. so all in all i had mad fun. i just got home and i’m halfway through a large dunkin hazelnut, so i doubt i’m going to sleep anytime soon. hooray! i might do some cleaning or something; my parents have changed their plans and won’t be here till the weekend, but it wouldn’t hurt to make a dent in the colossal mess that is my apartment.
